Event: Stretching for Cyclists (Virtual Class)

Stretching for Cyclists (Virtual Class)
Mon, Apr 20, 2020 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Do you want to eliminate pain, prevent injury, and improve your cycling? Stretching will help reverse the forward-leaning cycle posture and activate flexibility of rotational and lateral ranges that cycling doesn’t use.

BUT, you say, “I hate stretching and It feels like a waste of time.” On the other hand, you're still tight, sore and achy.

So, join us for a session of dynamic, practical, simple stretching to manage discomfort and reactivate your body. So you cycle, walk, sit, run, and even use a computer better.

Our guest class leader is 5BBC member Jacqueline Gikow, a certified personal trainer and health & wellness coach. She specializes in working with people to manage chronic health issues, pre/post-surgical rehab, and physical injuries.

She will be covering the best pre- and post-ride stretches you can do to make riding less painful and easier on the body.
