Mario Cuomo Bridge
Primary tabs

What didn't sink into the river was floated away. Good riddance! The Tappan Zee Bridge (R.I.P.) has been replaced by the Mario Cuomo Bridge with its elegant cable-stayed design and best of all the bike/ped path connecting Westchester and Rockland Counties.
Meet at 242nd St & Broadway just inside Van Cortlandt Park 2 blocks south of the rest rooms. Our ride takes the Putnam, South County, and North County Trails then veers west past Tarrytown Lakes into Tarrytown where we will have lunch (bring or buy) in view of the bridge. Then it's up and over followed by about 5 miles of unpaved (but very rideable) trail.
You should be comfortable riding in a group. Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides and you should carry a spare tube and water.
Check your email before setting out. You will be notified of any change in plans by 7:30 AM.
Navigation: GPS map, cue sheet
