This is a nice little ride, some climbing, but not too much and not too steep, from Westbury LIRR to Centre Island and back. We'll wend our way through some nice wooded sections, by some fancy houses and a bit of beach. Oh and we'll wave at Billy Joel's house or at least his front gate. Some digressions where we will go off the well-wheeled route for a bit of a change, and a pizza stop for lunch in Bayville where one can eat inside or across the road in the Park, depending on the temp. This is an Advanced (used to be advanced moderate) ride, we'll be doing 14mph on the flats. 

Bring water, spare tube, method of inflation, snacks and layers as the weather is changeable these days. If you sign up and but can't make it please unregister so those on the waiting list, if there is one, can get on.

Weather being weather, please be advised that I'll cancel if it looks like it's going to be too cold or wet or windy to be fun. I'll make that call the day before the ride. 

Getting there. 8:58 am train from Atlantic Terminal, change at Jamaica, and 9:09 am Penn Station. (Check times the day before in case there are changes) There is parking near the station.

I don't do cue sheets but you can print one from this link from the Ride with GPS website (not the app that I can figure out) by opening this ride, clicking "more" and then "map and cue sheet" then not printing the map unless you want the map. This gives the best cue sheet format.
