True scout ride to Glen Park Island in New Rochelle. Approx. 38 miles roundtrip with 1,050 of elevation. Pace 16-17 on the flats. There will be no point-drop-sweep. Lunch and bio break will be at the park which is approx. mile 19. There is a concession stand with the usual hotdogs, hamburgers, soda pop, or you can BYOB.

The start of the ride will be at the Queens side of the Queensboro bridge bikepath. As this is a true scout ride a spirit of adventure is necessary. If a wrong turn or two rattles you this may not be the ride for you.

Please bring the usual cycle accessories, such as spare tubes, tools to change a flat, hydration, and bike food. Helmets are mandatory at all times.
