The forecast for Friday are for warm February temperatures, perhaps approaching a record for the day.  So, come join us on a fun ride to enjoy the winter reprieve.  We will meet at the Patchogue LIRR station at 10:00 (a train from the City arrives at 9:56).  If coming  by car there is plenty of on street parking a few blocks south of the station.

The ride is mostly a flat tour from Patchogue, through Bellport, by Wertheim, past the William Floyd Estate and to Osprey Point.  We will have lots of water views and a few dead ends. Ride is advanced moderate, but we will also be doing a touring pace to see the sights. Depending on the on road factors, we should be back to Patchogue for either the 2:29 or 3:32 train back to the City.

Normally, we would stop and pick up lunch, but under the current circumstances, please bring your lunch, snacks and sufficient hydration, as it is very unlikely that we will stop to pick up food.  Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore new and unknown areas.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register. Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot.
