Let's start the year with a fun special ride.  Sea Cliff is a quaint North Shore enclave that was a former retreat.  We will ride there from Garden City whenever possible using some back roads (including a very, very short dirt road most will walk) stopping at the cliff park overlooking the Long Island Sound. Ride also explores some gorgeous North Shore Gold Coast areas.  The ride is also somewhat hilly in multiple places, but scenic, a good combination to maintain your late season riding shape.  We have listed it as advanced moderate because of the hills, but we will compress periodically to keep the group close.

Long term forecast looks decent for December with temps headed to 50, but we will track updates  

Ride starts at about 10:00.  It meets on the east side of the Country Life Press LIRR station, not the Garden City station. A train from the City is scheduled to get in at 9:55 or so and we aim to be on the road soon thereafter.  If driving, you can park for free on the streets a few blocks east near the  station.

Please bring your lunch, snacks and sufficient hydration, as we will not stop to pick up food, but will stop for breaks.  Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore new and exciting areas.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride.  Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot.
