Brooklyn History Ride - Historic Hangar B
Primary tabs

Join us on Saturday as we ride to Floyd Bennett Field to take a historic tour of Hangar B and see some WWII aircrafts where old planes are being restored. You'll feel like you went back in time to the 1940's. Hangar B was built in 1941 by the US Navy and used primarily for seaplanes. The aircraft restoration efforts are the work of the Historic Aircraft Restoration Project or HARP, created and staffed by volunteers who are retired aviation mechanics. This is a tour not to be missed! We then ride by the beautiful property of the historic Lott House which is one of the oldest Dutch Colonial houses in Brooklyn and the Wyckoff-Bennett Homestead which was built before 1766.
Lunch at Knapp Street Pizza & Bagel/Coffee place next door.
This is a Happy Face Ride and you must be able to do 10 MPH on the greenway.
