An easygoing ride to Snug Harbor Cultrual Center on Staten Island where we will see what's blooming in their gardens and visit the Chinese Scholar's Garden. Entrance to Snug Harbor is free but tickets to the Scholar's Garden are $5 general/$4 seniors and students,(for advance tickets see below). Thence to the spectacular Bayonne Bridge bike/pedestrian path to the enchanted land of Bayonne. We'll visit a couple of lovely parks in NJ where we will get unusual views of various bridges, ending up at Liberty State Park. From there, we'll ride to one of the ferry terminals in Jersey City to catch the NY Waterway Ferry to Manhattan where the ride will end. Waterway ferry ticket is $7 for the young'uns and $6.50 for the elders, that is people over 62. It's another $1.50 for your bike. I think there is a ticket kiosk at the dock, but to be sure you might want download the NY Waterway (not NYC Ferry) app to you phone.

I'm not planning on picking up lunch so please bring yours with you as well as snacks because lunch is going to be a bit late, around 2ish.

If the forecast is for rain, I will notify everyone by email by 7 am the morning of the ride if it's cancelled.

The ride starts at in Manhattan at the Staten Ilsland Ferry Terminal at 9:45am to catch the 10am ferry.
