Ride to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival & Giglio Lift
Primary tabs

Join us on a ride to old Italy: the feast of Our Lady Of Mount Carmel and the lifting of the Giglio, and American tradition since 1903. https://www.olmcfeast.com/about/the-feast-ritual.
Before arriving at the festival at approximately 1:30PM when the procession and lift are set to begin, we ride through the Brooklyn waterfront over the Pulaski & Koscuiuszko Bridge taking a break at McGolrick Park. You can bring snacks, lunch or money for lunch. You can also eat at the festival which will be our next stop. After fun and festivities we make our way back to Prospect Park.
Please be sure to bring plenty of water, tubes, sunblock, bike lock and money for lunch. Rain at start cancels the the ride. This ride may be modified if the temperature is above 90.
