Ride with us to volunteer with the Newtown Creek Alliance. We will ride to Metropolitan Avenue, and help maintain a green space on Metropolitan Ave Bridge. Following the work from 11:00 to 2:00, we will join a Creekside picnic, with food and drinks provided by Newtown Creek Alliance for volunteers.

We will also stop and visit the Newtown Creek Nature Walk.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: YOU MUST HAVE AND WEAR A MASK WHEN NECESSARY ON ALL 5BBC RIDES AS INDICATED BY THE RIDE LEADER. No Indoor activities are planned as part of this ride, other than stopping at restrooms.  THE 5BBC MAKES NO REPRESENTATION AS TO THE VACCINATION STATUS OF ANYONE ON THE RIDE OR ENGAGED IN ANY ACTIVITY, INDOOR OR OUT. THE RISK INVOLVED IN ANY ACTIVITY ON THE RIDE IS ASSUMED BY EACH INDIVIDUAL RIDER.

Registered riders will be provide a link to register with Newtown Creek Alliance (NCA) for the (outdoor) volunteer work, and will need to sign a waiver provided by NCA
