This will be an Upper Moderate Pace ride (12-15 mph on the flats) with 2700ft of climbing! We're traversing through various parts of southern CT, on what we hope will be mostly quiet and scenic  roads. 

The ride will start at the Westport train station, at 9:20 am.

As this is a scout ride there are a few food options and bathrooms in a few towns along our path. Be sure to bring snacks, the stop potentials don’t start until mile 22. Depending on everyone’s level of hunger and energy we will make a group decision. Bring cash and a mask as we are not sure what their policies will be. 

If you’re arriving via Metro North, there is a train departing Grand Central at 8:02am, arriving at 9:19am. Please use the bathroom on the train as we are not sure what the bathroom situation will be like in town. 

For those driving, please find parking in either the Train station parking lot or somewhere nearby, and be ready to go when the train folks arrive.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube and tire levers, sunscreen, snacks, full water bottles, and a bike in good condition. Additionally, be familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.

A Ride with GPS link will be provided the day before the ride to registered folks.
