This is a SCOUT SCOUT SCOUT. I haven’t done large parts of it, particularly on the east side of the River. We start at the GW Bus terminal (where there are bathrooms) and head for River Road so there are going to be some hills right at the start. Then we will take a little detour to the State Line Lookout, even though that entails another hill, b/c the view is so beautiful. Then off to Piermont via Tallman State Park, hard pack trail there, not asphalt, thence to Nyack, over the Cuomo and down the east side, sometimes on the bike trails, sometimes not. Then we hit the tricky part, the BRONX, and getting us to the Henry Hudson Bridge and back to the GW. It’ll be fun, it’ll be confusing. It’ll be both. So, please bring your usual stuff, tire repair supplies, water, snacks, a sandwich for lunch (I’m not planning on stopping to pick stuff up) (I will stop to eat, I dont' expect you to try to dine and pedal at the same time!), and your sense of adventure and direction.
