Let's head out east for an early season ride to Montauk, a Montauk Half Century.  The ride will meet at 9:45 or so (final time to be communicated to those who register) at a LIRR station parking lot along the Montauk branch.  The start will time allow folks time to get out there by car and carpools or via the LIRR, and will be coordinated to the LIRR train schedule. 

The ride is around 50, mostly scenic, miles, including some beautiful areas by East Hampton and the fun rolling hills on Old Montauk Highway with some great views towards the ocean.  Ride is advanced moderate as we will keep a steady pace, but won't overly rush as we aim to get to Montauk in time for a stop at the Montauk Brewery before taking a LIRR train from Montauk.  Riders may take the LIRR back to our start location to pick up cars, or may ride all the way back to Jamaica, Penn, Atlantic Terminal, or stations in between.  Registration is limited. 

Normally, we would stop and pick up lunch, but under the current circumstances, please bring your lunch, snacks and sufficient hydration.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride.  Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot.  All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.  And as always an upbeat positive attitude.

THE RISK INVOLVED IN ANY ACTIVITY ON THE RIDE IS ASSUMED BY EACH INDIVIDUAL RIDER.
