We will start with a ride to a Solidarity Ride for Ukraine being developed in partnership with restaurant Veselka.  Check back for further details as the ride gets closer.  Then we will flow intp a traditional Perimeter ride. 

Come ride with us on this scenic ride as we bike the Isle of Manhattan.  This ride will be 1 of 5 for our Perimeter Patch Series.  You must complete all 5 Perimeters for a 5BBC Patch and This Perimeter is the baby of the bunch.

We will have beautiful views of the East River, Harlem River, GWB, and Hudson River with neighboring NJ across the way.  On our way heading up north, we will be making a stop at Tread Bike Store at Dykman St in Inwood have lunch (multiple options), but if you like Dominican Food this is the spot.  We will be continuing over to the west side greenway heading south.  The search is underway to find Ukrainian options among the Dominican ones - watch this space for further details. 

This 32 mile loop around Manhattan will be ridden mostly on Greenways with beautiful views along the way.  This will also be a Happy Face ride at the back and a MODERATE RIDE at the front after the solidarity ride for Ukraine which will be Happy Face through the city (roughly 5-10 miles max).  There is no limit to the number who can register but if we have more than 20 we will add leaders to help manage. 

Please make sure your bike is in good working order.  Please bring a mask, spare tube, hydration, snack, & hand sanitizer.

Added Saturday night re: Food

Hi - a few things about Sunday's Ride. (Sorry if you already got this, but I couldn't tell for sure if the web site sent and wanted to add to the subject line). 

1) The solidarity ride with Ukraine has moved to 5/22. I posted another ride for 5/22 that will follow that ride which ends at Ukraine Festival. It is a smaller ride with others to show solidarity for Ukraine and I would appreciate you showing club support for the cause by joining that one if you are inclined. Much appreciated.

2) This ride is a classic Perimeter that will end in the Lower East Side and have lunch at Veselka which does a great job of letting us pre-order to take out and eat in a parkette nearby. You can look at their menu here: https://www.toasttab.com/veselka-144-2nd-ave/v3/ I will expect e-mails to allan5bbc@gmail.com with subject MY ORDER FOR VESELKA by Saturday at 8pm. You would then need to Venmo to @abffabinc the amount which should be precisely what you ordered plus 8.875% to cover Tax and whatever tip you'd like to leave. I will tabulate as well and if you are short, I won't be placing the order so please, they are doing us a big favor as it's VERY busy there sundays and we will not have to wait - and we can use their bathrooms :)
