Nine Churches Architecture Ride

An Easter Sunday Ride to See Church Architecture
It’s Easter Sunday. Let’s go to a church – nine of them. Join us for a 32 mile Advanced Moderate ride to view nine historic churches in Manhattan.
We’ll start at famous Trinity Church at Broadway and Wall Street and ride North visiting New York landmarks like Old St. Patrick’s, Grace Church and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. A short history of each church and its architecture will be read at our stops. Lunch will be at the excellent Inwood Farm Café on Indian Road at 218th Street (some of us may sit inside). After lunch we’ll head back to the Hudson River Greenway and ride it all the way down to lower Manhattan, ending at Trinity Church.
Helmets ae required. Bring water, a spare tube and pump or CO2 cartridge, and money for lunch. Please make sure that your bicycle is in good working order as we’ll have limited ability to make repairs.
This is an Advanced Moderate ride, and we will keep a good, steady pace. Do not sign up unless you are able to keep up.
Cue sheets will be available at the start. Since we’re riding only in Manhattan, getting lost is not an option.
