This will be an Upper Moderate Pace ride (12-15 mph on the flats) with almost 2100ft of climbing. We're traversing deep through Westchester County, and a brief hop into CT, on what we hope will be mostly quiet roads. Please bring lights, front and rear as it gets dark earlier now.

The ride will start at the North White Plains train station, at 10:00am. As this is a scout ride there are a few food options in a few towns along our path. Depending on everyone’s level of hunger and energy we will make a group decision. Bring cash and a mask as we are not sure what their policies will be.

If you’re arriving via Metro North, there is a train departing Grand Central at 9:17am, arriving at 9:57 am. 

For those driving, please find parking in either the Train station parking lot or somewhere nearby, and be ready to go when the train folks arrive.

If the ride needs to be postponed, for weather or any other reason, the backup date will be December 29th (the following Wednesday). 

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube and tire levers, snacks, full water bottles, a tail light for if we have delays, and a bike in good condition. Additionally be familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
