We will ride the length of Henry Hudson Drive, better known to cyclists as "River Road", with its views of giant cliffs, waterfalls, and the Hudson River. There will be impressive fall foliage (we hope) and impressive hills (we know). After River Road we have a 10 minute walk over a pedestrian bridge and through a forest before emerging at State Line Lookout and its eponymous cafe. We plan to eat outdoors so dress for the weather. Return is via the forest walk and a less hilly (and less scenic) Route 9W.

This ride is listed as moderate based on pace and distance. If you need to walk the immoderate hills on River Road we will wait for you at the top.

Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Bring a face covering for when you need to go indoors.
