Okay, so we get up a little early. But, there's a train ride along the Magnificent Hudson to Poughkeepsie. Then, we hop off the Iron Horse and jump on our Steel, Aluminum, Carbon, or Titanium Steed and ride to Val-kill, Roosevelt Library (Lunch & Tour(Maybe a reduced or free tour)) and the Vanderbilt Mansion. Then, back to Poughkeepsie to take the return train to NYC. Ah! Good memories! Good Views! And good friends to share them with.

Go to either Grand Central Terminal  for the 7:45 train. Be there by 7:25 to buy ticket & board train or 125th St./Harlem for the 7:56 train and be there by 7:40 to buy your ticket & board the train. In case you want to meet us at Poughkeepsie where the ride officially starts, this is a through train that arrives at Poughkeepsie at 9:56.

Bring a Metro-North pass, lock & money for tickets and lunch.
