This is a nice little ride, some climbing, but not too much and not too steep, from Westbury LIRR (there's a train arriving at 9:11am) to Centre Island and back. We'll wend our way through some nice wooded sections, by some fancy houses and a bit of beach. Oh and we'll wave at Billy Joel's house or at least his front gate. There will be some digressions, maybe as many as five, where we will go off the well-wheeled route for a bit of a change, and a pizza stop for lunch in Bayville where we can eat outside. Or if you prefer to bring your lunch there are picnic tables near the pizza place. This is an advanced moderate ride so we'll be doing at least 14mph on the flats. 

Bring water, spare tube, method of inflation, snacks and layers as the weather is changeable these days. I've ridden most of the route but there are one or two spots that I'm trying out so a sense of adventure is advised. Covid Restrictions apply. I will email the route and start location the day before. If you sign up and then can't make it, please be sure to unregister so I can move people onto the ride from the waiting list should there be one.
