The new maybrook trail has been completed, so let's take a nice ride through upstate New York on the new maybrook with awesome nature at its best.  This trail was once a train line of the new york and new haven hartford railroad.  It also connected to waterbury, branchin, derby Connecticut.  Now it has become part of the empire state trail that runs from nyc to the canada. We will stop at  in hopewell jct for  lunch. bringe a pack lunch then continue then down the trail to the village of brewster where you can take metro north train back to nyc 

this ride is a happy face /moderate ride for those riders that want to see nature or move fast there choice if you want to go to a fast pace you are responsable for getting back to the train on your own

 MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ON THE 6:45AM TRAIN FROM GRAND CENTRAL TERMINAL TO POUGHKEEPSIE IT WILL GET YOU THERE AT 8:45 AM BRING A GOOD BIKE HEAD LIGHT IT GETS DARK EARLY
