Eligible for the Perimeter Series Patch. A chance to ride around the Borough of Staten Island. Simple—ride along 70% unseen bodies of water—the Arthur Kill, Raritian River and the Atlantic Ocean. By now, indoor dining should be available for lunch along the way. Be prepared for a variety of busy, flat, hilly, quiet, sometimes rough & watery roads, greenways, bike lanes, scenic vistas, granite boardwalks under beautiful Staten Island skies. And depending on time & pulse of the group, surprise pleasant areas will be surveyed that’s NOT on the route. Leader has made his mark with the 5BBC, leading this ride, since 1997. Please maintain a pace of 12mph behind the leader.

Start & end point will be in the vicinity of the Manhattan side of the Staten Island Ferry.

Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Carry a spare tube and water. We're still in a pandemic so wear a face covering and keep social distance.

Registration is limited to 12 riders. Everyone else gets wait-listed. The club website may not update your wait list status but you will get an email when a slot opens.

Participants will be emailed days before the ride. Please withdraw if you can’t make the ride, as to allow wait list riders to join in.
