Enjoy a relaxing autumn Sunday ride using mostly protected and separate bike lanes from Brooklyn to 5 Towns. There's a wildlife reserve along the way to explore and beachside boardwalks. Our ride will take us through Rockaway to Rock Hall in Lawrence for their annual country fair and to see their resident llamas and chickens.  There will be a Blue Grass Band, Colonial historians and craft vendors. Then we ride to Cedarhurst's main street with a variety of food options, including bagels, pizza, ice cream, sushi, Middle Eastern, and grill type stuff for the carnivores. We can take our lunches to a nearby town park for outdoor, socially distant dining before heading back to Brooklyn.

Trip distance is approximately 36 miles, mostly flat and on many greenways.  We will be riding over the Crossbay Bridge and back over the Marine Park Bridge. Meet up in Brooklyn at the Avenue H stop on the Q train line at 9:30 or by the Comfort Inn at 3218 Emmons Ave at 10:00. Bring your helmet, mask, spare tube and a lock, money for snacks and lunch.
