New York City is replete with neighborhood pizzerias.  Some good, some not so good, and some excellent.  The club has rides where a pizzeria is just the lunch stop or the pizzeria(s) is/are the whole reason for the ride.  A few of the club favorites are Full Moon Pizzeria in Da Bronx, Totonno's, Knapp Street Pizza, and L & B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn, and Grace Pizza and New Park Pizza in Queens.

The ride will start and end in Brooklyn.  We need to put in significant miles to burn off the pizza calories we will consume!  The first stop on this ride is Gaby's Pizza in Hollis, Queens, at the intersection of Francis Lewis Boulevard and Hillside Avenue.  It is on the southern border of the exclusive area of Hollis known as Holliswood.  Before reaching Gaby's we'll make a couple of quick stops in Holliswood at homes once residences of two well-known New York persons.  We can grab our lunch at Gaby's and go to Bellaire Playground two blocks away at Hillside Avenue and 207th Street.

After our first stop, we will ride south and west to reach the club favorite pizzeria in Howard Beach, Queens, New Park Pizzeria.  After our meal at New Park Pizza, we will take the Shore Parkway Bicycle Path to Canarsie and back to our starting point in Brooklyn.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride.  Please 'unregister' if you cannot make the ride so wait list folks can move up and take the slot.  All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, tire levers, sunscreen, snacks, your filled water bottles, and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
