Join us for a fun adventure  to Briarcliff . Fun Fun Fun on a summer day . If you have an abundance of energy left over , there will be riders crawling back to Brooklyn . There are trains and a bathroom at the end of the ride . 

THIS WILL BE A MODERATE RIDE , PLEASE BE ABLE TO KEEP AT LEAST 12MPH ON THE FLATS 

Today our entire ride is on a rail trail built on the right-of-way of the defunct Putnam Railroad. The trail begins in the vicinity of Van Cortlandt Park where it is newly paved and smooth as a baby's butt. Portions of the trail in Westchester are not so smooth but we hear most of it is fixed 

Participation is limited to 15 riders. Everyone else gets wait-listed. The club website may not update your wait list status but you will get an email when a slot opens.

Ride start and end is in the vicinity of Van Cortlandt Park. Exact start location and GPS/cue sheet will be emailed to registered participants.

Check your email before setting out. Any changes will be emailed to registered participants by 8:00 AM on ride day. 

Please use the rest room at the ride start. The first rest room stop is at mile 14.

Lunch is outdoors at the beautifully restored Briarcliff Manor Law Memorial Park Pavilion. Bring your own or food can be purchased at the first rest stop and carried to our lunch stop.

Important: you must remove yourself from the list (or email the ride leader mgaff269a@yahoo.com) if you will not be riding. Failure to follow this instruction could get you restricted from signing up in the future. ALSO WATCH THIS LISTING FOR ANY COVID UPDATES 

Other stuff: Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Carry a spare tube and water. We're still in a pandemic so wear a face covering and keep social distance., Also Bring Sanitizer
