Come Join us for a fun summer excursion , as we make our way to the Far East ( ok not that far east ) to Point Lookout a hamlet located in Hempstead , Long Island which is surrounded by three sides of water . We will be cruising through the Rockaways , Atlantic Beach , Long Beach and Lido Beach   before making our way into the lovely area of Pt  Lookout . We will be picking up lunch either in Long Beach or at a local deli in Pt Lookout , where we will mosey on over and have lunch while we marvel at the ocean views ( Dip your toes in , or your whole body for that matter , it is August ) Bring your bathing suit or if you choose ride in your bathing suit , anything goes on this lazy summer ride 

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A MODERATE RIDE , AND A LONG RIDE , IF YOU CANNOT KEEP NO LESS THAN 11 MPH  AT THE BACK PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS RIDE  

WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TIME WE WILL BE ARRIVING BACK , IF YOU NEED TO GET BACK EARLY OR HAVE PLANS THAT EVENING PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS RIDE , THERE ARE TRAINS (LIRR , SUBWAYS ) BUT WE CANNOT GIVE SPECIFIC TIMES . WE WILL BE TAKING IN SOME SIGHTS OF THIS LOVELY TOWN 

WE WILL  BE MAKING SNACK / WATER STOPS BOTH TO AND FROM , IT IS AUGUST AND HYDRATION  IS IMPORTANT 

THIS RIDE WILL START IN THE VACINITY OF PROSPECT PARK BROOKLYN AND WILL END SAME 

PLEASE BRING ALL THE USUAL BIKEY STUFF - SPARE TUBE , LIGHTS , HYDRATION ( A MUST ) , HELMET , MASK , SANITIZER , SUN SCREEN . ALSO PLEASE COME WITH YOUR BIKE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION 

COME SPEND A GET OUT OF THE CITY AUGUST SATURDAY AND ENJOY OCEAN VIEWS WHILE TAKING IN THE SIGHTS AND VIEWS ON THIS LAZY . HAZY SUMMER DAY
