The skies will hopefully clear and let us enjoy a ride to Canarsie Pier onto the greenway to Shirley Chisolm Park then out to Howard Beach.  We will ride into Hamilton Beach, over the Hawtree Creek footbride to  Charles Park on the water with views of Rockaway, JFK and Hamilton Beach Park.  This Howard Beach native (me) will tell you about the neighborhoods and some famous past residents of Lindenwood, Rockwood Park, Howard Beach, Old Howard Beach, and Hamilton Beach.  We will be eating outdoors at New Park Pizza, a neighborhood landmark since 1956.

This will be a moderate-lite ride.  You must be able to keep your speed at 12 mph on the greenway.

The ride will start in the vacinityof Prospect Park.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order.  Please bring your helmet, mask, spare tube, hydration, hand sanitizer and cash for lunch.
