Garden City and Hewlett Harbor - A Spring Variation
Primary tabs

Since we introduced and led this ride a few years ago it has been a fun-filled success and we continue to receive multiple requests to schedule it again. This is the variation that starts in Eastern Queens, but will incorporate a new variation with a bike path by a lake. What more could you ask, other than for the weather to cooperate.
So, come join us for a fun, fairly flat 45-50 mile ride that combines two of our non-north shore favorite Long Island locations, Garden City and Hewlett Harbor. This may be a ride of a thousand turns, but you will enjoy most of them, as once we arrive at our various destinations, we meander about getting a flavor for the areas.
Normally, we would stop and pick up lunch, but under the current circumstances, please bring your lunch, snacks and sufficient hydration, as it is very unlikely that we will stop to pick up food. Lunch stop may be quite late in the ride, so be sure to have snacks to hold you over. Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore new and unknown areas.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the exact start location will be forwarded to the first eight riders who have registered. Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
