Join us for a serene and relaxed suburban ride from Eastern Queens to Garden City.  On many stretches it is possible to ride 2 abreast and talk to each other in safety.  Wow, what beautiful houses and flowers.  We pass Adelphi Univ and the Incarnation Cathedral along the way.  Coffee nosh @ Garden City’s Café 7th Street, which has a European city feel and ambience.

Next, explore what Nassau County's flagship Eisenhower Park has to offer.  Have you ever ridden through its golf course?  Lunch is around 1pm with many choices on Post Avenue, Westbury.  On the loopback, we will make a 'nature' stop at less known gem Clark Botanical Gardens.  We ride IU Willets (ugh if not in shape or tired) back to Queens, but there will be some nice low traffic bypasses that you may ride for the first time.

This ride is rated Moderate with a distance of 33 miles and smooth suburban street riding pace of 11 mph.  Elevation is 650 ft.  This ride is restricted to 12 + 2.

Important:  Please ‘unregister’ in a timely manner if you can no longer make the ride.  This will allow others on the waitlist to participate.  Please do not register if you do not intend to ride the complete route.  This action would deprive a fellow member the opportunity to ride the complete route.
