Nine Churches Architecture Ride
Primary tabs

An Easter Sunday Excursion
It’s Easter Sunday. Let’s go to church – nine of them.
This is a 24 mile Moderate ride to visit nine historic churches in Manhattan. The churches of New York have a wide variety of architectural designs and often complicated histories. A short history of each church and its architecture will be read at our nine stops. Come join us for an early Spring outing.
The ride will start and end in lower Manhattan. The exact start location will be e-mailed to the first twelve (12) riders a few days before the ride along with a cue sheet.
Lunch will be a picnic outdoors, so bring whatever you want to eat.
Since the Pandemic is NOT over, please bring a mask (required) and keep social distancing. Also bring a helmet, a spare tube, hydration/water, lunch and hand sanitizer. Make sure your bike is in good working order.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: You must Unregister as soon as you know that you won’t be participating in the ride, or send me an e-mail at jdk.5bbc@gmail by Saturday afternoon at 3:00, so that a wait-listed rider can take the available slot. Failure to follow this instruction could get you restricted from signing up for club rides in the future.
This is a Moderate Ride, not a Happy Face, with a 12-14 mph pace.
Start time: 9:30 AM
