The Quick Spring Training Series:
This series of rides will get you back in shape by summer. The rides start at reasonable distances and build up each week.
If you consider yourself to be a pretty good rider who enjoys riding in the comfort of a small (8-10 person) group of riders who compliment one another throughout, you are a perfect fit to join in on these rides. On a Quick Spin, we ride together as a group. Riders do not fly off the front of the group. The speed of each ride generally is what the group wants it to be. It’s not much faster than what the slowest rider in the group can tolerate. There is no Point/Drop/Sweep. As long as you can maintain 17 MPH on flat roads, you will not be left behind. Occasional compression stops are made to keep everyone together. Often times a revolving pace line is maintained. Riding long distances as a a group we generally ride together and turn together. You’ll find the other riders to have great dispositions and cooperative skills to really make the day enjoyable.
