If you, like many others, haven't had a chance to start riding since February left us out in the cold - join me for this ride. It will be small unless a second leader steps up, so 1+6 unless we grow to 2+12. It will start not far from the Q Train Avenue U Station and we will make our way to Emmons, along the belt parkway bike path over the bridge to Jacob Riis park and then hit a pizza shop in Far Rockaway for a slice or two standing up outside socially distant before turning right around and retracing our steps back. A classic out and back with about 9 miles out - eat and rest - and then 9 miles back. 18 miles total. A lifetime of sorts. If you don't get that last line - ask me to tell you about it's Gematria and learn two things from me about Jewish folklore. The pizza will be authentic Italian and "of love" to give you a hint. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the exact start location will be forwarded to the registered riders.  Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot.  All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the club.
