Queens College to Central Park/Time Warner Center
Primary tabs

Join us for an urban adventure tourism ride. From Queens College we ride new direct bike pathways to Flushing Meadow Park. From there we go through Corona on a bike pathway to Queens Boulevard that you may have never ridden. Sorry, no time for empanadas. Our nature stop will be Big Bush Park. No, we will not use big bushes for our relief!
From Queens Boulevard, we will ride familiar Skillman and the 59BR. The earlier start is to ensure we make Central Park by 11am in time to join the NYC Parks Urban Rangers 'Central Park Movie Set Tour'. It is a one hour bike/walk tour. Urban Park Rangers events and programs are a wonderful NYC Parks resource open to the public.

Lunch will be takeout from Whole Foods in the Time Warner Center. We will eat outside in the Columbus Circle Plaza. What an experience! Photos and views of 59th Street East/Central Park from the TWC mezzanine are encouraged.
This ride is rated Happy Face based on 30 miles distance, 800 feet elevation; and with urban city street riding and city traffic, our average pace will be 10mph. Ride details to be emailed WED 12/9 to first 8 registered riders.
Important: Please ‘unregister’ in a timely manner if you can no longer make the ride. This will allow others on the waitlist to participate. Please do not register if you do not intend to ride the complete route. This action would deprive a fellow member the opportunity to ride the complete route.
