Looking for a weekday moderate spin / fitness ride? As winter kicks in lets keep the legs loosened for our weekend adventures by pedaling in between. Join us for a mid-week mid-day 20 mile loop. All riders will will be notified as to the exact start time and start location two days prior to the ride (just to have some wiggle room as we learn of the potential weather). Some climbing (500' in total) but mostly flat. We will cycle thru Sunset and Owls Head Park, then along the Shore path (so maybe a headwind to increase the difficulty). Better then a during the week stationary bike workout, because we will have a stop at L&B Spumoni Gardens for a bite (take out service for sitting at their outdoor tables - but feel free to bring your own packed lunch / snack). Bring the usual things you bring on a ride such as spare tubes / flat fix kit as well as pandemic related items like mask and hand sanitizer. And dependent upon the weather we may even do a loop in Prospect Park to add in a little more miles and an extra hill. As always, remember in case of bad weather check the website for change in start time or cancellations
A reminder that you must register for the ride. Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with a mask, helmet, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
REMEMBER: Rides should be familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club during the Pandemic. We are limited to a specific number of riders. Everyone else gets wait-listed. Important: You must unregister and email the ride leader if you no longer can make the ride. Not withdrawing from the ride listing prevents others on the wait-list from participating.
