This ride will start in Huntington, easily accessible by public transportation or driving. We’ll be riding on mostly quiet, suburban roads with limited lights and stop signs. We will have some long stretches without stopping, so we ask that if you sign up you are comfortable with this, and can maintain 14 mph on flats. This is a mostly flat ride.

We’ll be riding through the college campus of SUNY, Farmingdale and then eventually stop at a bagel place where you can pick up something for a picnic lunch by a park.  Or, bring your own lunch.  Ride will be approx 40 miles, depending on weather. 

Please bring snacks and sufficient hydration.  Also, as the ride starts late, please be sure to eat a good breakfast and have snacks.  Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore new and unknown areas.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the exact start location will be forwarded to the registered riders.  Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot.  All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
