Brooklyn/Queens Lost Neighborhood
Primary tabs

Join us as we ride at a later start to "The Hole" which is a 12 block run-down area that looks like a sunken marshland on the Brooklyn/Queens border by Linden Blvd. The neighborhood sits 30 feet below the surrounding areas, has no sewers, is underdeveloped and was also the site of an old mafia graveyard. Sounds like fun!
We will then go to Neirs Tavern for lunch outdoors, which is one of the oldest bars in the country, in operation since 1829. Great burgers and salads and much more.
Please make sure your bike is in good working order. This is a Happy Face Ride and riders should be able to maintain a speed of 10 mph.
The ride will start near Prospect Park. Rides are limited to 8 riders and 2 leaders. Everyone else gets waitlisted. Important: you must unregister and email the ride leader if you can no longer make the ride. Not withdrawing from the ride prevents others on the wait-list from participating.
