TGIF, and for Acme Fish, a family owned/operated wholesale smoked fish biz.  Their "Fish Fridays" (the only time they allow retail buz) is for we, the public. It's done a bit diff these pandemic days, but still, such a deal!  It's a short and easy hop to Acme in Greenpoint Bklyn from our start near the Willie-B bridge. We will probably have some repast on the way back, coffee or light nosh, at a fun local bakery/coffee shop.

No point-drop-sweep; we'll ride as a group (but do print/bring cue sheet). Back in Manhattan at the 59th Street Bridge 10ish (or 10:30ish if we break for coffee). BYO carrying capacity for bringing back treats, plus bike lock. And of course, mask, helmet, bike in good shape, tires pumped up, tube, etc. Please also bring a printed copy of your purchase receipt, so we can hand them over all at once to make our pickup faster and easy.

NOTE:  Only online orders are accepted (starting noon Tuesday each week), for curbside pickup within a time slot selected when you order. Those pickup times are first come-first served, so hop to it, get your order figured out in advance, then finalize it ASAP after the "noon Tuesday" window opens.

GOOD NEWS:  I spoke to the company about how on earth we get same time pickup slot for individuals on our bike ride, who will be ordering separately at diff times. Company rep said no problem, just book the nearest "next" time slot you can when ordering, and then we all arrive at our earlier time slot (ETA 9AM) and hand over our batch of printed order confirms, and PRESTO, we're in biz.

TIP:  Company said fresh sliced fish is only sold by the full pound(s); they start filling orders Thursday night; and some items do run out  (so don't wait to get yours in!)

WARNING:  Friends and family might pile on to your shopping list once they hear where you're going!

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the cue sheet and exact start location will be forwarded to registered riders.  Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot.  All riders should be familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
