During the past few months, Myles and Mel had a lot of time on their hands.  We made it our mission to circle every single damn pond in Queens. Thus was born the three part Queens Ponds Series.  The ponds that we visit on this ride include Kissena Lake, Alley Pond,Oakland Lake and Bowne Pond.  If we are lucky we may see egrets, swans, herons and turtles.  We then head back along the Michaels Mile and the Flushing Bay waterfront.  This is a very scenic ride.  

The start point will be in Queens County, register for the exact location of the start.  Lunch will be a picnic at Oakland Lake.

Please take adequate water, spare tubes, snacks and pack a lunch.
