Ides of Griot Ride
Primary tabs

Join us on a ride through Brooklyn with our destination being Grandchamps, a favorite Haitian restaurant of mine in Bed-Stuy. Haven't had Haitian food? Neither did Caesar. Their specialty is Griot (a fried pork that is marinated and slow roasted until tender). There are a variety of chicken, fish and vegetarian options, too. Here is a link to their website (click on the Bed-Stuy menu). http://www.grandchamps.nyc/
This 24 mile ride will take us through Boro Park, Midwood and East Flatbush before heading into Bed-Stuy. We will ride-off lunch by traveling through Bushwick and Williamsburg before returning back to Grand Army Plaza. If we have room for dessert we might make a detour to the classic Circo's Pastry Shop in Bushwick. https://circospastryshop.com/
If Caesar went for Haitian food on March 15th, history might have been different.

Lunch is two-thirds into the ride (Mile 16+), so bring snacks.
Bring a lock, a tube and a hearty appetite. Remember to check the website for ride updates before heading out if weather might be an issue.
