Lets enjoy some infrastructure!

The Goethals is finally open to bikes! We will be meeting at South Ferry in lower Manhattan for the 10:30am ferry to Staten Island. Please meet at the first floor bicycle waiting area inside the South Ferry terminal. Don't be late or you will miss the ferry!

Starting from St. George ferry terminal on Staten Island, we will ride down the beautifully post-industrial north shore of Staten Island, over the Goethals Bridge, and finish at the New Jersey Transit train station in Rahway, NJ. Lunch will be at The Waiting Room in Rahway, directly adjacent to the train station.

NJ Transit trains arrive regularly at Rahway with transportation back to New York Penn Station. Please join us on the train back if you are going in that direction. Bikes are allowed on NJT trains outside of peak rush hour trains. However, they may be subject to restrictions if there is crowding, so please listen to your conductor.
