Jump start your spring training with an extremely scenic ride. We will start from the Westbury LIRR Train Station (meet by the station in the southside parking lot) and head up through the north shore Gold Coast to the exclusive community of Centre Island where we will get a look at Long Island Sound and make sure Billy Joel's home survived the winter.  The forecast is currently for temps in the high 40's and there will be a couple of ascents to keep us warm.  Get back in shape and stretch your legs for about 42 miles while enjoying the beauty of the north shore.

Ride starts at 10:15 (but don't forget to change your clocks).  There is an LIRR train scheduled to arrive a little after 10:00. Westbury is a short ride from Penn Station or Atlantic Terminal (or other City stops)  

Bring snacks, hydration, spare tubes, money for a lunch stop in Bayville and an upbeat inquisitive attitude. Please register on the ride listing and check back for any updates and for the ridewithgps file.
