The leaves may be gone, but the beauty of Henry Hudson Drive "River Road" remains. In the winter you can enjoy unobstructed views of the cliffs and across the Hudson River. Best of all, most of the road will be closed to cars. There is no road maintenance, so you do need to watch for rocks, branches, and the occasional massive landslide. You will work up an appetite on the infamous "Alpine d'Huez" hill climb. Lunch is at State Line Lookout Inn. Ride officially ends at the Manhattan side of the GWB.

Note 1. Our usual rest stop, Palisades Interstate Park HQ, is temporarily closed due to a fire. Therefore there will be no rest stops for 17 miles until our destination at State Line Lookout Inn. All riders are encouraged to use the facilities at the ride start.

Note 2. Rain, snow, ice, high winds, closed GWB sidewalk, and very cold temps may cancel. Register for the ride and then check your email the morning of the ride to be sure we're rolling.
