Ramblersville - The Tradition Continues
Primary tabs

One thing is certain - the days are short and the weather is cold. Which can only mean that it is time for our annual cold weather ramble to Ramblersville. In what has become a Winter Tradition, we head to the wilds of Queens and spend some quality time at a great hobo beach on Jamaica Bay. One of the most isolated neighborhoods in New York City, Ramblersville is a one block wide strip of land between Old Howard Beach and JFK. Houses are built on stilts in this marshy spit of land. We cross one of the most scenic foot bridges in NYC. You will wonder "Where the %$#* are we?"
While cold weather will not cancel this ride - rain or snow will. If there is any question, check the web page and/or face book page for either delayed start or cancellation. Lunch is at the always popular New Park Pizza.
Bring: Lock, tube, money for lunch, a thermos with a hot beverage, a love of the season.
