Sunday, November 17 is World Day of Remembrance for victims of traffic violence. Join us as we ride together with Transportation Alternatives and Families for Safe Streets members. We will meet at the South end of Prospect Park at Park Circle.  Park Circle is the round about where Ocean Parkway, Coney Island Ave, Prospect Park Southwest and Parkside connect. It is across from the tennis courts.  We  will pick up additional riders at Grand Army Plaza. This is a very short ride of 9 miles each way. It isn't the ride but the numbers that count on this day. Twenty Eight people have been killed while bicycling this year. Countless more have been injured. And many more have been killed or injured while walking. If you have a "Crash - Not Accident" or FSS T-shirt, please wear it. Yellow flowers and flags work too. Meet up at 10:30 am. Please be prompt so we can all get to the ceremony on time.
