We will start our ride on the Hudson River Greenway at Chelsea Piers and continue on the Greenway to the Washington Bridge. We cross into New Jersey and ride through all the towns in New Jersey that are across from Manhattan down to and across the Bayonne Bridge. (The new pedestrian path opened  May 2019). When we get to Staten Island we will go to the beach. Great Kills beach that is, and ride the road into the park to the beach house. We will then make our way to the Staten Island Ferry, passing through various Staten Island towns. This will not be a point, drop, sweep ride but we will ride at the pace we all agree on . There will be a sweep to ensure that we all stay on our route. And remember to wish Kate Brady a Happy Birthday. Please note that a revised route on October 29 was added to use more secondary roads on Staten Island and use roads closer to the shore.
