So, once again we are doing a midweek scout of a potential furure ride.  This is a totally new ride and hence a true scout as we try to to determine the scenic value of the ride, the suitability of roads, the extent of the hills (there are hills), potential rest rooms and food stops. I am sure we will make some wrong turns, both accidentally and deliberately as we explore.  Ride will meet at 10:30 AM by the Dunkin Donuts on the north side of the Ronkonkoma LIRR train station and will take a totally indirect, meandering route to Sunken Meadows. There is a train scheduled to arrive at Ronkonkoma at around 10:21. 

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:  In order to participate you must email me and share your cell number.  I will confirm your participation and share logistics. Please bring hydration, snacks(we are scouting food stops, so who knows), lock, money for train and a potential food shop.  Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore new and unknown areas.
