Come ride as a group with the 5BBC, as we ride from Lou Gehrig Plaza by Yankee Staduim to Washington Square Park to join the NYC Bike Family Mass Die-in Protest.  There have been too many recent cycling deaths and injuries. 2019 already has seen a 50% increase in cycling fatalities in the City over all of 2018, and the year is only half over.  Something must be done to effectuate real change and not just a repeat of an empty Vision Zero slogan.  This is real and the cycling community in all of its aspects needs to be heard.  Come be heard with us.

This is a one way ride that ends at the protest.  Please be on time as the protest begins at 6:30 and we want to be on the road by 5:00 (leave work early). Please bring front and rear lights, a sense of outrage, but a peaceful non-violent attitude.
