UPDATE WE ARE NOW MEETING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATION BY DUNKIN DONUTS

We are once again doing a midweek Long Island scout of a potential furure ride.  This is a totally new ride and hence a true scout as we try to determine the scenic value of the ride, the suitability of roads, potential rest rooms and food stops. I am sure we will make some wrong turns, both accidentally and deliberately as we explore the area and find the Noah Hallock historic homestead.  Ride will meet at a little after 10:30 AM by the ticket machine in the south side large parking lot at the Ronkonkoma station on the LIRR. There is a train scheduled to arrive at  10:37. There are quite a few trains headed back to the City from Ronkonkoma .

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:  In order to participate you must email me and share your cell number.  I will confirm your participation and share any additional logistics. Please bring hydration, snacks(we are scouting food stops, so who knows), lock, money for train and a potential food shop.  Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore new and unknown areas.
