Come ride as a group with the 5BBC, as we ride from 110 Street and Lenox Ave. to Washington Square Park to join the NYC Bike Family Mass Die-in Protest.  There have been too many recent cycling deaths and injuries. 2019 already has seen a 50% increase in cycling fatalities in the City over all of 2018, and the year is only half over.  Something must be done to effectuate real change and not just a repeat of an empty Vision Zero slogan.  This is real and the cycling community in all of its aspects needs to be heard.  Come be heard with us.The ride ends at the protest.  Please be on time as the protest begins at 6:30 and we want to be on the road by 5:25 (leave work early). Please bring front and rear lights, a sense of outrage, but a peaceful non-violent attitude
