Five Bridges - At a Leisurely Pace
Primary tabs

Unless you live in the Bronx - if you live in New York, you live on an Island. And one thing about islands is that there are always bridges to take you there. This ride goes through three boroughs and crosses five bridges: Willis Avenue Bridge, Bronx Connector, RFK Triboro Bridge [yuck], Roosevelt Island Bridge and the Queensboro Bridge. Along the way we will stop at Socrates Sculpture Park and the FDR Memorial on Roosevelt Island. Lunch will be either at a Pye Boat Noodles [Thai] or Arepas Cafe [Venezuelan]
This is a Happy Face ride and we will be rolling at a leisurely pace. We also have a wonderfully late start time for all you sluggards out there. The only hills that are on the ride are on those bridges that we cross. But nothing that you can't handle. That said, remember to take the essentials: Lock, plenty of water, spare tube, snacks and a great attitude.
