Brooklyn Holiday Lights
Primary tabs

NOTE:THIS RIDE RESCHEDULED FROM SUNDAY 12/16
Casual ride to enjoy the holiday lights and cheer of NYC's most populous, and 2nd largest, borough. And let's bedeck ourselves and bikes with lights and holiday trimmings, as well (safe for cycling, of course)
We'll follow a turbo route through a variety of neighborhoods. Of course we'll visit the borough's largest tree, plus the locale with the most longevity.of an annual XMAS tree.
All types of bikes welcomed, just be aware we will be on a wide variety and quality of street paving, and in city traffic at times, so choose your steed and tire width well.
Any changes or cancellation will be posted by Noon of ride day. But weather is good for that whole part of the week, and seasonal temps won't deter us, so dress for success in layers and such.
MEET: Ready to go, at Brooklyn Bridge Park, on sidewalk along Furman Street (which starts at Old Fulton St and runs south from there) just south of Pier 1 Ferry landing for the NYC commuter ferries and the Fulton Ferry landing (which I believe has the ice cream shop) and just south of Old Fulton Street. As another benchmark, we are just south of the Brooklyn Bridge and nowhere near the Manhattan Bridge. Leader(s) might have on some blinkie holiday lights :> RRs available further south inside the park.
BRING: Bike in great condition, tire changing/repair gear, hydration, $ for bevs/repast & ferry or subway if desired, layered warm clothing.
X-listed NYCC.
